TOWN OF BISCOE

Board of Commissioners Meeting

12 April 2004

The regular meeting of the Town of Biscoe Board of Commissioners was held on April 12, 2004 at 7:30 pm in the Municipal Building.

Mayor Blake called the meeting to order at 7:30pm.

Present were: Mayor Jimmy Blake, Mayor Pro-Tem Larry Preslar, Commissioners Jerry Smith, Richard Kissell, Michael Criscoe, John Beard, and Town Manager Josh Ray.

Larry Preslar made the motion to accept the minutes as written from March 8, 2004.

Mike Criscoe seconded, and all voted in favor.

Nancy Ruppert gave the quarterly report on the Montgomery county Resource Team.

Larry Preslar made the motion to ask the Division of Community Assistance of the Department of Commerce for assistance with ABC issues along with the Zoning Ordinance. Jerry Smith seconded and all voted in favor.

Mike Criscoe made the motion to have the Town Clerk, Lisa Cagle, investigate the sufficiency of the petition for annexation submitted by Bobby Myrick for the Shady Oak Property. John Beard seconded and all voted in favor. Along with the request for the 10 acres from Bobby Myrick, two additional lots, with different owners, would have to be annexed in with this request also.

Larry Preslar made the motion to go into closed session to discuss a land proposal. Richard Kissell seconded, and all voted in favor. Entered into closed session at 8:10pm.

Michael Criscoe made the motion to return to open meeting at 8:44pm. Richard Kissell seconded, and all voted in favor. Resumed open meeting at 8:44 pm.

There being no further business to bring before the Board of Commissioners, John Beard made the motion to adjourn. Michael Criscoe seconded, and all voted in favor. The regular Board meeting of the Biscoe Town Commissioners adjourned at 8:45pm.
