TOWN OF BISCOE

Board of Commissioners Meeting

8 March 2004

The regular meeting of the Town of Biscoe Board of Commissioners was held on March 8, 2004 at 7:30 pm in the municipal Building.

Mayor Jimmy Blake called the meeting to order at 7:35 pm.

Present were: Mayor Blake, Mayor Pro-Tem Larry Preslar, Commissioners Jerry Smith, Richard Kissell, Michael Criscoe, John Beard, and Town Manager Josh Ray.

The Public Hearing for the annexation of Dr. Lane & Associates was called to order at 7:25 pm. There was no opposition on the annexation. Michael Criscoe made the motion to proceed with the annexation for Dr. Lane & Associates. John Beard seconded and all voted in favor.

Jerry Smith made the motion to accept the minutes as written from February 9, 2004. Larry Preslar seconded and all voted in favor.

Richard Kissell made the motion to accept the corrected minutes from January 20, 2004. Michael Criscoe seconded, and all voted in favor.

Jerry Smith made the motion to release 2004 property taxes s follows:

Walter and Nancy Jenkins $500.40 duplication of tax bill

TCF Leasing 734.21 outside Town of Biscoe

Michael Criscoe seconded, and all voted in favor.

Richard Kissell made the motion to advertise Delinquent taxes on March 24, 2004. John Beard seconded and all voted in favor.

There being no further business to bring before the Board, John Beard made the motion to adjourn. Richard Kissell seconded, and all voted in favor. Meeting adjourned at 8: 30 pm.
